Product advantages

Combination sensor for offshore applications

The classic combination sensor for offshore applications. The robust design, made from seawater-resistant materials and featuring a special coating, guarantees high reliability and a long, fault-free service life. The measured wind values are output serially every second as an NMEA protocol. This combination sensor is the first choice for both extreme weather conditions on the high seas and applications close to the sea.

  • Proven combination sensor design for universal use
  • Special coating for long-term offshore use
  • Best material quality and manufacturing precision for low start-up values and a large measuring range
  • Wear-free measurement recording for optimum accuracy and maximum resolution of measured values
  • Serial interface with NMEA-0183 protocol

Ser[LOG]-NAV

Ser[LOG]-NAV Data logger

Ser[LOG]-NAV is an individually configurable and flexible data acquisition and monitoring system. The data logger professionally records weather data, course and speed data and can be integrated into the on-board computer and navigation systems to provide information for steering the ship. Calculations such as True Wind are performed automatically. Hardware and software work seamlessly together to protect passengers, crew and cargo.

  • 6 serial multifunctional interfaces for data input and data output
  • True wind calculations and support for multiple wind sensors
  • Manual/automatic selection of two wind sensors with windward and leeward detection
  • Calculates additional parameters, including dew point, absolute humidity and wet bulb temperature
  • Supports individual ship-specific interference sector corrections
  • Alarm system for up to 10 warning channels with multiple relays
