Product advantages

The maritime, all-in-one sensor for six weather parameters

u[sonic]WS6-NAV is a compact weather sensor with no moving parts. Wind parameters are measured using ultrasonic technology. Its robust, seawater-resistant aluminum housing ensures reliable operation in harsh conditions on ships and wind turbines. The integrated heater keeps the weather sensor ice-free even in extreme cold down to -50 °C. The sensor has an NMEA 0183 output in accordance with marine standards.

Safety is the top priority on the high seas. The u[sonic]WS6-NAV has been tested by official institutions and certified according to the EN 60945 standard for marine equipment. The sensor requires minimal maintenance and does not need routine calibration. The protective cover can be easily removed to clean or replace the sintered cap of the humidity and temperature sensor inside.

  • Six measurement parameters: wind direction, wind speed, air temperature, air humidity, air pressure, dew point temperature (calculated value)
  • Easy installation with just one cable connection
  • Wear-free operation, as there are no moving measuring elements
  • Service-friendly thanks to removable slat protective cover
