Extreme weather events are increasing worldwide and pose major challenges for agriculture, municipalities and civil protection. Particularly in remote regions or areas without a power supply, important precipitation data can often not be collected at all or only inadequately. Without this data, there is no basis for informed decisions, timely warnings and effective risk management - resulting in damage caused by floods, droughts or crop failures.

The Ascend Precipitation Station - Solar works independently thanks to its solar panel and can therefore also be used in remote locations without a power supply, where important precipitation data was previously lacking. The precise rain[e]LP sensor measures every drop with minimal energy consumption. A data logger collects the values, which are visualized in real time and can be forwarded via an alarm function. An optional cloud solution ensures secure management. This provides users with reliable precipitation data wherever they are.
