Measuring network for precipitation monitoring

messages will be registered from a control centre, in case of too much or too fast rainfall. The threshold should be determined by experiences of the location conditions.
This measuring system is used especially in areas, with special risk for flood water, but also at dams or sewage plants.
Operators of water and waste water systems will be enabled to gain an important time advantage to protect buildings, nature and life.
The proven LAMBRECHT measuring system consisting of
precipitation sensors and data logger TROPOS-100 will be supplemented by the high-performance measuring and evaluation software MeteoWare Rain. |

The functions:
Monitoring of up to 255 measuring stations within the network
Ascertainable precipitation intensities of 8...20 mm/min
(depending on type of precipitation sensor)
Operating temperatures of -35...+70°C (depending on type of
precipitation sensor)
Data acquisition, storage, archiving, evaluation
Network monitoring:
• Beginning/ end and amount of precipitation events
• Alarm function 1: Id-No. 36.09338.100 000
All connected measuring stations TROPOS-100 will be phoned within
a defined time interval. In case of exceeding the thresholds
alarm signals will be received from the control centre and a acustic
and visual signal will be triggered off in the control center.
• Alarmfunktion 2: Ident-Nr. 36.09338.200 000
All connected measuing stations TROPOS-100 register the fallen
amount of precipitation at their location. In case of exceeding the
thresholds within a determined time interval the stations phone the
control center and signal the appropriate emergency situation.
Alarm signals appear in realtime. |
